Kansas Libertarian Party Executive Committee Inc. State Chair, Rob Hodgkinson, was re-elected to a second two year term by the delegates April 28, 2007.
As Kansas State Chair, he has been extremely active in fighting for eminent domain reform, fighting the constantly rising taxes as well as working to make the Libertarian Party more visible in Kansas. According to him, This "center" approach is keeping us viable and visible to the legislature. . . the voters are starting to see the LP as a good choice on Election Day.
Rob is currently a candidate for the Kansas State Senate District 37 Rob has run for Secretary of State in 2006, Rob also ran for the Kansas House in 1990, 2002, and 2004. Considering himself a moderate and mediator, as an elected official Rob will be serious about change and encourage Kansans to get back into politics after years of disillusionment with the two major parties.

Rob became a Libertarian in 1999 following Harry Browne's presidential campaign. The Browne campaign opened his eyes to libertarian philosophy and he has been active in the Kansas and national party ever since. Rob is a Life member of the Libertarian Party. As a 5th generation Kansan growing up around the Hutchinson area, Rob has a particular understanding of the people in his state and has been an active member of his community, participating in many organizations including Atlas!Liberty PAC, the Castle Coalition, Kansas Compassionate Care Coalition, Kansas Taxpayer's Network, Drug Policy Forum of Kansas, AFP of Kansas, the Greater KC Women's Political Caucus and even his local bowling association. His hobbies include gardening, hunting, fishing and reading.
