Dear Friends:

My goal is to be a resource for you, your family, your neighbors, and your business. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to represent you in the Kansas Senate. I promise to always work hard to earn your respect and your vote.

I am running for the State Senate because my vision for Kansas is a safe and healthy community in which individuals, families, and businesses can thrive and grow.

As Senator, I will work with everyone to unite and focus our priorities and resources on the values we share: individuals, families, and local businesses enjoying a safe and sustainable community. These values make Kansas a great place. If we embrace Kansas's opportunities for change, we can make it even better.

My goal in public service?

To be a "public servant" by using today technology so that EVERY voter has access to their elected officials and the political process. I will work hard by telling you how I vote and why, and if bills passed or failed, and why.

Democrats and Republicans -- liberals, conservatives and moderates -- all have some plan to run your life. They believe "there ought to be a law." Government officials pass law after law, tax after tax, and regulation after regulation. Politicians and bureaucrats want power over our lives. They don't care whether their plans work or not -- as long as they have "good intentions." That threat is use of the coercive powers of government, under the color of law, to take the rightful property of some people and give to others, and the forcible imposition of the will of one group of people on another group. Such acts, most often done in the name of good, explain the ugliest portions of human history.

"Libertarianism is a vision of how people should be able to live their lives – as individuals, striving to realize the best they have within them; together, cooperating for the common good without compulsion. It is a vision of how people may endow their lives with meaning – living according to their deepest beliefs and taking responsibility for the consequences of their actions."

The other candidates in all other parties want to run your life; they want more and bigger government. I am the candidate who wants less, much less. Big government has failed. I will defend the rights of the individual against the power of the state.
